Would people like to see another LAN?

Hey lads and lasses

How have you all been? Good I hope! I've been busy making my way in the big land of Sydney recently and haven't had much time for.. well anything really. I've recently placed myself in a new job working alongside Carter which has been pretty fun :).

Anywho, would anyone be interested in another LAN? Do enough people even look at the forum to warrant investing time in exploring venues/cabling and equipment? Can anyone give me an idea of numbers? Would anyone's friends be interested?

Also there was some talk before of a Team Damage Sydney.. any interest there? Don't mean to step on anyone's toes by posting this up (not 100% sure if I'm still considered 'Admin', I know I've been demoted in the forums) but yeah, nothing has been posted anywhere in a while and as it has been mentioned before, would be a shame to let TD fade away...

I do love a good LAN, nothing like excessive coke and computer games to kill time. Especially when we do the all day nighters :D, its kinda like a cricket match... but for geeks!

I would like to see another LAN, just hoping I would be able to fit it in with my final year of uni.

A TD Lan in the near future is on the cards

We have a few issues that need working out first. i tried to call Michael Jones at the PCYC on friday but he was not there when I called. i will try agion on monday

A TD in sydney is something scorp has been talking about and in fact he has started some serious venue searching last thursday. suitable venues are really hard to find they must be affordable, have suitable power, have internet reception, have suitable tables and chairs and have good access point and parkng (and a few others things too)

things were on hold a bit until i returned but i am now back and will be looking at making things happen - We wont commit to a time frame but i would like to see a LAN up and running in the next 6 weeks either sydney or in the gong first preference is the gong.

Id love to see a LAN in Sydney. Me and milky (who used to be in byo) would defiantly come. Sydney would be great for me and milky as we dont have to lug our rigs up to the gong lol. You should seriously think about it. I could probably get another couple of people to come.
